Redicilla to Villa Franca

Quick update.  I'm waiting to go eat dinner so will just do a little check in. WiFi in my room isn't possible.  24kms hot day.  Beautiful but seemed long probably because of the heat.  The next few days are supposed to be quite cool/cold. Hiking towards Burgos and am thinking of getting the bus through the industrial section into Burgo.  It is long and pavement so probably a good idea to skip if I plan to skip any. So , maybe tomorrow or the next morning will be bus time. Tomorrow is 12 kms before any village so I am bringing food and lots of water.  Coffee might not be anice option! So,several kms climb and then lots of kms before a village and cold to boot. The days here are always different.  On the  scenery front, the grapes and wheat are being replaced by peas, potatoes and wheat!
I am in a little  hostel again tonight 20 euros.  Yippee.  I am sure that I will be in albergues for the next few days.
Slogging up to another summit through rocks having decided that another 6 kms was a good idea

  1. Funny that the weather can be so different from day to day. But, if you climbing up and down over mini-mountains, I guess that makes sense. I'd skip the industrial walk too - doesn't sound that appealing, especially after all of the beautiful scenery you've had. Which is harder on your knee - the pavement or the climbs? Have a great day my friend.

  3. The pavement is the worst thing. The climb is fine but the descent is difficult and kills the knees
